This book is answer to an unspoken desire for clarity and depth concerning the gospel. When I was attending a bible school we had the opportunity to write a paper and I initial chose the topic of the gospel. I chose it because i felt and indeed possesed a poor grasp of the gospel as preached and understood by Jesus and the Apostles/5(44).   The word “crucified” appears 37 times in God’s Word, all in the New Testament.. To say that “crucified” is a very important divine truth, central to the New Covenant, would be an understatement.. Those who preach a Christ that is not Crucified, preach a false Christ! – “ But we preach Christ CRUCIFIED. “ (1 Corinthians ) The significance, the centrality of the crucifixion. Without Christ crucified in her pulpits, a Church is little better than a cumberer of the ground, a dead carcass, a well without water, a barren fig-tree, a sleeping watch­man, a silent trumpet, a dumb witness, an ambassador without terms of peace, a messenger without tidings, a lighthouse without fire, a stumbling-block to weak believers, a.   Crucifixion may be one of the most horrible methods of execution ever invented.
